It’s getting to be the end of the gardening season in Colorado and we’re using our heirloom tomatoes in as many things as we can think of…caprese salad, marinara sauce, salsas, tomato basil soup, fried green tomatoes, and here, in BLT wraps - with avocado, of course!
Want a fabulous way to cook bacon with hardly any clean up? Lay out the strips on a large foil lined baking sheet and pop it in a 400 degree oven for 15 minutes - give or take a few. You’ll want to keep your eye on it but you can get perfectly crisp deliciousness without the grease and splatter on your stove. When it’s done, remove the bacon to rest on paper towels, let the baking sheet cool, toss the foil and put your baking sheet back in the cupboard. Easy peasy!
