Pumpkin Cinnamon Rolls

I love the fall and pumpkin season.  My husband’s garden produced like crazy this year…including pumpkins galore!  We decorated the deck, the house, the front porch and I brought some in to work, as well.  I roasted several of these guys up and pureed the pulp to be used in my holiday baking.  I also added pints to my freezer which is already jammed packed with other garden goodies.

As these were roasting in the oven and the house was smelling amazing, a recipe segment came on my kitchen TV for pumpkin cinnamon rolls and I knew it was divine intervention.  First chance I got, which was today, I whipped these up and they were absolutely delicious.  I’ve included a link for the recipe.  My only alteration was to add a bit of almond extract to the frosting and a sprinkle of pecans.
