A classic pesto with justt 4 ingredients. Perfect to use as a base pesto sauce to be enjoyed as is, or adapted for other recipes! Yield is about 1 ½ - 2 cups.
In a food processor combine basil leaves, parmesan, and garlic. Give a few pulses to roughly chop. With the motor running, drizzle in the olive oil, being careful to not over-puree or the olive oil could become bitter.
Use immediately or freeze for later.
